CURRENT COLLECTION

Each of our collections has a concept: We create each piece with a specific woman in history in mind and as if we were designing the collection just for her.

Our current collection is inspired by Vera Kholodnaya.

Vera's Ghost

Vera Kholodnaya (1893-1919) was a
Russian silent film star. She was born in Poltava,
Russian Empire (now Ukraine) and moved to
Moscow at the age of two.
Vera dreamed of becoming a ballet dancer, but
ultimately grew an interest in acting after being inspired
by others in the profession.
She married and becamxe a mother of two, but sadly
passed away at the tender age of twenty-five during
the Spanish influenza pandemic of 1919.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain a
mystery, however. One theory suggests that she was
poisoned to death by the French ambassador
with whom she reportedly had an affair.
Vera starred in a number of films, but only five of them
still exist today.
